SunFrog Shirts recently announced the results from its latest charity campaign, No-Shave November.
SunFrog is the original evergreen, DTG based, T-shirt sales and fulfillment platform. Experiencing rapid growth over the past few years, the company strives to give back on a consistent basis.
Spearheaded by Allison Holmes, of the company’s art department, the month-long event raised $5,520 for the No-Shave November Cancer Research cause. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and Fight Colorectal Cancer.
“This was our first year participating in the fundraiser, and it was amazing to see our community and our employees getting involved. Who knew that facial hair could ‘grow’ cancer awareness?” says Holmes.
“Part of the fun was watching all the staff get into the process, and really committing to not shaving for a month. They became very involved and the staff themselves raised quite a bit of the donated funds” says Josh Kent (Owner and CEO SunFrog.com).
Local sponsors such as Paragon Ink, Alpine Computers, Alpine Chocolat Haus, Gaylord Eye Care Center, Card Remodeling, Mary’s Tavern, Sitz & Associates, Northern Michigan Docks, Diesel Freakz, Little Caesars of Gaylord, La Senorita’s of Gaylord, Zaremba Equipment and Johnson’s Oil Co also contributed to the success of the event.
No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education.
